  1. The big issue isn't a mailing address, it's a physical address that isn't a PMB or a POBox. Correct? So a small lot with a street address would satisfy, theoretically. Escapees mail service would still be acceptable as the mailing address. Am I understanding that correctly?
  2. Wondering if owning a small piece of land that's been assigned a street address by the local post office would meet the physical address requirement?
  3. Had CoachNet, they saved us multiple times, always awesome. Until they weren't and then it was very bad. Our truck broke down and we asked to have it towed to our shop 35 miles away so hubby could work on it. The same place they'd towed our motorhome to on more than one occasion, from similar mileage. Operator said they were only obligated to take it to the nearest qualified service center, which was a dealer 7 miles away, early on a Sunday morning. Pointed out that a dealer was NOT qualified to work on a '65 Chevy pickup with a T5 transmission (which was the problem) and that husband, who IS a mechanic, was. The operator couldn't be bothered. Even told us that getting transportation home was our problem. Luckily, Geico took care of everything, including negotiating a lower rate for the mileage part of the tow that they couldn't cover. Realized exactly why Escapees had dropped their endorsement of CoachNet. They may be better now, but it's not a chance worth taking.
  4. All disabled veterans are allowed privileges at commissaries and BX/PX, whatever their rating. A valid VAHID is required that states "service connected".
  5. We're both hooked on the "Miss Fortune" mystery series by Jana deLeon (Amazon Cozy Mysteries). Well developed characters and plots, good writing, funny, and 23 books in the series with more to come. I read them on my Kindle, dyslexic hubby listens to the audio versions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
  6. Are those income levels before or after standard deducton, i.e. gross income or taxable income? Potentially very big differrence.
  7. We've sold our vintage Class C and will be replacing it with a mid-late 1990's Class A, 31-32 feet long. I have my eye on a couple 1996-7 National Seabreeze Limited Edition coaches and also a 1996 Tiffin Allegro Bus gasser. I can find specs on the Seabreeze for height, but nothing on the Bus. Anybody know what the height is? And will any difference effect the handling or behavior on curves/turns. I have a bit of a freak-out when a coach leans or sways very much on the road (some bad scarey experiences almost tipping over a few years back). Thanks!!!
  8. I would include the Tiffin Allegro Bus from that time period in your searching, as well. Quality coaches with emphasis on livabiity.
  9. Age is nothing but a state of mind that we can choose. Give yourself permission to try and to be ok to not always succeed.
