You could always consider installing a Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret - 16,000 lbs Item # RP61420 https://www.etrailer.com/Fifth-Wheel-King-Pin/Reese/RP61420.html That enables you to use a fixed hitch. Hope this helps.
