  1. Fry the bologna and don't flatten it out, let it form a cup shape. Take a scoop of mashed potatoes and cover it with the fried bologna cup. Melt your favorite cheese over the whole thing. I remember this in the elementary school lunch room, and it was so much better at home with better ingredients.
  2. It's killing me Kirk. I am looking for any excuse to take off from work and get that last trip in.
  3. Thanks everyone. How much damp rid for a 30 ft trailer? What are the best spots to place the Damp rid buckets?
  4. Hello all. I am new to RVing and this is my first time winterizing my trailer and storing it in my driveway. I live in New York and it will be below freezing for a few months. My question is: Does anybody run a dehumidifier well their trailer is being stored? I want to run a discharge hose out of the camper so I don't have to check it every day, is this possible? How do I prevent the water from freezing? Thanks, Joe
  5. My wife and I tent camped in the past and went to Pennsylvania last year with our friends who were in a pop up. The first night the temperature was 38 degrees and i had never been so cold in my life. The next night it rained so hard when we came back to our site after hanging out with our neighbors in their trailer, our tent had knee high water in it with all of our stuff floating. We stayed in my friends pop up that night and were warm and dry. When we returned home we decided that we should get a pop up. After months of looking it became clear that my wife was not going tobe happy in anything used regardless the condition. the next week we started shopping for a new pop up and were shocked to see how expensive a new pop up was and decided we might as well get a trailer instead. fast forward to the next year and we looked at hundreds of trailers and finally purchased a 2019 Arctic Fox 25W and have just completed our first season RVing and we are totally hooked. I wish I could spend every weekend of the year camping unfortunately our schedules don't allow for this. It pains me to be winterizing the trailer this weekend and I feel like a little kid having to go back to school after summer break.
  6. Thank you. I am still a new RV'er and have so much to learn. I love all these forums as there is always someone willing to help spread the knowledge.
  7. I can guarantee if you go and check out the Northwood products you will notice difference. I shopped for over a year and looked at countless trailers not wanting to spend too much, but once you hear all the horror stories about broken frames and units just falling apart it makes you think. My wife and I finally decided to drive 300+ miles to go to and Arctic fox dealer and see what they had to offer. We made a weekend out of it and stopped at a few different dealers on the way. It was August and was 95 degrees out and a scorcher. The firs day we looked a bunch of trailers from Forest river, Jayco and Grand design. All of these trailers were like ovens inside and stunk of chemicals so bad my wife was walking in and walking right out. The next day we went to check out Arctic fox ans Nash. Amazingly it was still 95 out, but the Arctic fox and the Nash were literally 20 degrees cooler than every trailer we looked at the day before. The most notable thing to my wife was the lack of chemical odor in the Northwood trailers. There is no fake wood in the entire trailer besides the center console of the Thomas Payne sofa. My wife loved the 25w and we ordered one that day. After about 8 trips this year we have had 0 issues and the trailer is built like a brick house. The AC cools the unit to 65 degrees in 100 degree weather and we use a small electric space heater when ii is cold at night keeping the trailer at 70 without running the furnace. This is just my observations and I am definitely biased, but I think most people would agree after checking the brands out. BTW the Nash trailers were rock solid and would have been my choice if my wife could have warmed up to the more utilitarian interiors. Good luck
