  1. Fit is everything when it comes to RV covers! Less hassle, more secure fit, less chance of moisture and debris, etc. I found RV Part Shop really helpful with guiding me through proper measurements and choosing the right cover. ADCO is definitely a first choice for quality, as other posters have said.
  2. We're pretty quite campers and I definitely agree with a 10PM curfew. I do feel that 6AM is a little early to start making noise but 8AM is much more reasonable.
  3. "Fresh" food is usually defined at the border as anything that could be replanted ... so potatoes, onions, anything with seeds. We crossed Canada to US and they took our cucumbers and cherries. Bananas were fine. It really depends on the mood your customs agent is in that day, I guess!
  4. We have a 1977 VW Westfalia and we toyed with the idea of renting it out to pay for our "habit". A good deal came up on a 1978 so we jumped on that one instead. The 77 will remain our personal vehicle and the 78 will be for rentals. WIth the service charges and elevated insurance costs considered, the 78 should be paid off by the end of the summer!
