  1. My Jetpack data plan was only $15 a month added to my existing cell phone plan. Bought the Jetpack on Amazon for $130 just a month ago.
  2. Looking for someone that has one of these RV's for year 2019 that lives or is in the Phoenix area. None of the dealers have any available and I sure like to go and see one up close but I don't want to drive out of state to see one.
  3. I have Dish Network and call up every time my promotion ends and I threaten them I will cancel unless they give me another promotion. Don't get stuck paying full price when you don't have too. They rather keep an existing customer than paying more to get a new customer. My RV receiver cost is only $7 a month. Soon I will just cancel Satellite and be done with it for ever. I have a10ft OTA antenna for my RV that has a 150 mile range antenna so I have no problems picking up free HD TV. I also have purchased a Verizon Jetpack on Amazon for $130, it has unlimited data for streaming all my movies and TV shows. Adding the Jetpack to my existing Verizon plan only cost additional $20 a month and you can freeze the service off and on when ever you want. I also use a Amazon Fire Stick and stream all my movies and TV shows. There isn't anything I can't watch, if it was produce it get it. I also run a VPN software to protect my service in and out.
  4. Beware of poor quality coax in RV's for Dish Satellite HD TV. The poor quality coax may work fine for RV Park cable TV and your over the air TV stations. Directv satellite works fine because they are only SD not HD unless you have a $2000 system. My poor quality coax always tested good but was not good enough for HD. I once did a survey in a RV Park with everyone that had a Dish Network Satellite system. Most of them admitted that they were not receiving all their HD channels. Some of the channels are confusing because they may be available in HD but due to poor quality coax the channels is converted to SD and you may not get some channels period. I had to convince my dealer to install a dedicated high quality coax from my convenience center directly to my satellite receiver with no splice or junction boxes in between. All now get all of my paying HD channels.
  5. Alice, trying to decide on buying can RV is a hard choice. One thing for sure doing the RV thing is not cheap. Buying an RV has worse deprecation than cars. It is not an investment like buying stick built house. There will always be something that breaks that needs to be repaired. Then there is all kinds of upgrades, better batteries, better steps, better tv antenna, better tires, better brakes and the list goes on. I store my RV (5th wheel) at a very nice secure RV storage facility I use to pay $40 per month for a back-in and now pay $60 per month for a pull thru. Insurance coverage for RV's are all over the place. Some insurance company's may cover your cars & home but not an RV. Some RV coverage could be as little as $150 a year or could be triple that depending on where you go. As far as RV parks most are around $40 per night but some could be $100 a night in California. The bright side of RVing is you can go where ever you want stay as long or short as you want. You get to meet a lot of nice people out there on the trail. Good Luck
