I try and use the adaptive cruise as much as possible it keeps us a safe distance away and adjust automatically when a vehicle fills in the gap. The best part is it uses the standard brakes to slow or stop you so the brake lights are activated.

Made it to Houston today for a Dr's appointment before heading to the WCR and the weather from Gulfport, MS to Lake Charles, LA was incredible. The rain had to be falling 4-5" an hour and the wind was blowing 20-25 right on the nose. We ended up sitting on I10 for 2 hours east of Lake Charles waiting for them to remove a semi that hydroplaned and rolled on its side. We arrived at Lakeview RV park in Houston to find that they had changed our site from a 70' pull through to a 40' backend when I ask them where would they like me to park my 26' long truck they moved someone else to the small site. We had a great time at the ECR and hope everyone made it home safely.

Hello everyone, My wife Licia and I, have purchased a 2006 Volvo VNL 780, registered it in Florida as a Motorhome and begun the process of adding a flat deck to the rear to carry my Jeep. In Florida we are limited to bumper pull, so we have purchased a new to us 28 foot Coachman FREEDOM Express 280 RLS pull behind. (emphasis on the Freedom:)
We look forward to this adventure and meeting others who have gone on before us. I have had the very special privilege of talking to Mr. Henry, and e-mailing Miss Davena, if these folks are any indication on how the rest of the group treats new folks, I would say my wife and I have found a very special club.
Thank you,
Michael & Licia (pronounced Lish-Ahh) Parr
We will post up a photo or two once I get my IT team, I mean my Teenage son to shrink the pictures to the appropriate KB size.
Hello from Texas and welcome. Nice red truck but I have to ask why are you limited to a bumper pull in FL?

From what I understand, Corporate has never contacted any one of us who emails them. Pretty poor business practice. Now I might have missed a posting by someone who might have received something, but my two requests have been ignored.
Someone had a great idea the last time we had this conversation. We need to have a group of 10-15 HDT and make a trip out of just going to Bucee's one after the other.

Still in Kansas but next week heading to New Braunfels TX. Should I stop in and say hi at Buccees?
Try the one in Waco also! I've already been tossed out of that one. And welcome to Texas the sun is out and it is warm. We are just east on New Braunfels on 21.
