Fleetwood Southwind 1994 Chevy 454 P30
Lately I've been experiencing what I describe as a lock and skid when I touch the brake pedal. It doesn't always happen and it's not related to a sudden hard stop as that hasn't happened either. I just touch the brakes to slow for a light and sometimes it feels like the brakes lock up and I skid a bit.
I've discussed this with several people and have had several mechanics look at it and they all tell me everything is fine. I've also had new brakes and tires installed this year as both were due. Some have mentioned the proportioning valve? Wouldn't a complete brake job have required at least taking a look at that part?
I'm a wit's end here. Any suggestions?
