  1. Yes, that is the switch. With engine off, switch in over-ride mode (should retract step when door closes) the step comes in, then clunk, clunk, clunk - not really in and out, just jitters. Did find out that a good swift kick temporarily solves the problem. Will crawl under tomorrow, clean, lube, wiggle wires etc. Thanks
  2. There is an over-ride switch that allows the step to be in the closed position when the engine is off and door closed. When the door is opened the step goes out (safety measure, I guess) That is the switch that is causing the erratic step operation.
  3. Journey 2013 MH, Kwickee steps go in and out but...when motorhome off and we turn the switch off to pull in the steps (working outside and need the space) the steps pull in and out quickly and jitter. Opening or closing door doesn't stop the action. Turning the switch back on does stop it but step remains out. Suggestions? Thanks
  4. Weather in April around Bryce Canyon will be cool 60-70, evenings very cool - 40-50's. Dress in layers. Bryce is at 7-9,000ft elevation. If you do Zion, be prepared for the opposite. Temps 80-90s, lower elevation. If it is running, sign on for the half day shuttle trip all the way out to Rainbow Point all the way to the end of Bryce Canyon. Good way to see lots, ranger talk and not nearly as many people. (it is 9,000 feet elevation there so windy and cool)
  5. You are doing this all wrong ! Come join us in Newfoundland....today's hi 73, yesterday's 62. Haven't put away the heater or blankets yet. Wait, heater, blankets...maybe we went to far north!
