  1. Personkind has been marking stupid chit on rocks and caves and stones and tree trunks and the sides of buildings they don't own for centuries. It's like they do it for the attention.....
  2. An added bonus to good rigging is if you flop your trailer on it's side your bike will be doing the fly on the floor which is now the wall so once the wrecker sets it upright you can back it out using the safe unloading techniques ^ and you are on your way.
  3. In addition to the Aeropress I also use a moka pot.
  4. Using the L - track & strap like the auto carriers would leave you with a few tie down points on the deck for securing other stuff when not smart hauling...
  5. We have had the metric one available in Canada for 4 years now. My Aeropress coffee turns out best when I use a semi fine medium grind of tawny medium dark roast infused with fairy farts. It must be stirred with Asian grown chopsticks. The water must be exactly 199.5F at sea level. I made this ^ up... The real key is to make coffee strong enough to float a mule show and enjoy it black Great channel by the way Marc. Subbed for a while...
  6. HomeSweetRV - I saw a u toob video where someone removed their day night shades and laid them flat on a table and cleaned them with a hand held “Rug Doctor” type machine. They had excellent results.
  7. I recognize that pit lane .
  8. I was with Good Sam ERS. I needed a tow from a location in western Canada that their 1-800 number would not work from on my mobile. Paid for the tow ($300) and called from a landline right away for reimbursement. Filled a form out and chased for weeks. Got a one year renewal “free” as reimbursement because I should have hitchhiked to a land phone I guess Used the blizzard of Good Sam renewal due mail to light campfires. I have CoachNet now.
  9. Thanks Kirk - I don't watch broadcast hellivision but I like to watch streamed or downloaded or DVD type stuff once in a while. A guy that is smarter than me said most of the tv's we rig inverters to power are actually low voltage internally.... maybe I saw one advertised that had both 12v and 110ac connections? Trucking and marine uses many low voltage equipments I see...
  10. Electric dummy chiming in. If I don't use a microwave or any other ac appliance, do I need an inverter? I'm thinking run everything with D.C. except air conditioning which would be generator or shore power. I live in temperate weather with shade available in summer...
  11. 67 near Wickenburg AZ today. 53 right now. Sun in the eyes.
  12. I figured Ballard would surface somewhere in my scouting - Which is of course months behind the times ... Kenworth is starting where these vehicles make the most sense and are most needed. I may be biased in opinion. Your electric range may vary with grade and wind
  13. are you confusing Tesla with Nikola? Neither of course being the interesting genius inventor Nikola Tesla? anyhoo I came across a video of the introduction of the Nikola vehicle and proposed support network on youtubes I enjoy looking at new concepts and new applications of technology. The Nicola prototype long haul tractor is a very innovative vehicle Merry Christmas
  14. hone - please call Nikola direct and call BS on the weight difference they stated in their presentation😀.
  15. Thor electric Nikola hydrogen fuel cell / electric hybrid. Nikola's vertical integration and integrated route and load management is interesting. Estimated 2000lbs lighter tare weight than current diesel trucks should be very interesting to the industry and all electric competitors... Mid body entry door ... the DMV will "have" to gimme motor home status now!
  16. I'm running the red desert camo custom applied by 50mph wind and splattery 30 second rain showers every 5 minutes on the one side right now. It warshes off once you get a round tuit.
  17. Put it in hibernation mode. Then I hopped in the toyhauler fifth wheel hitched outfit and followed the gooses
  18. Time to follow the gooses. Apparently I like to wait so I can drive in snowage. The bike almost loaded itself when it heard we are shaping a course south by southwest...
  19. I use a Bialetti Venus 6 (expresso) cup stovetop moka pot. I don't know anything about expresso. I use it to make 1 mug of FAH* coffee in 3 minutes on propane fire. Simple to clean and set up cup 2. Wants a fine grind but not fussy. Brews pretty much any grind you use. How a moka pot works If I have company my go to is French press, coarse grind 4 minutes brew time. More involved and needs more water to clean up for next round than the moka pot. Makes a little more fancy brew. I read a coffee snob blog where you get a better brew stirring with chopsticks cause they aren't stainless steel like the spoon I use. Neither needs electricity. * Floats a horseshoe
  20. I learned that all water lines including low point drains need to be flushed with fresh water when "de-winterizing pink." Truck camper drain valves are about 2 inches from the T. Swine pipe held enough pink to get in the fresh water flowing past the T to completely ruin the much anticipated first pot a coffee.
