  1. They’re safe as long as you aren’t in California🤪
  2. I've got an old Volvo (Cummins motor) with a dedicated switch on the dash for said ICC marker lights. Never owned a truck until I bought this Volvo. It came with a bed and a Smart car and two Trailer Saver hitches. Couldn't pass it up. But, I drove a truck for 30 years. The last several years of that career I drove the T680 or Freightliner Cascadia, never knew from week to week which one. I'll keep my old Volvo over either of those trucks. FWIW..😋
  3. I put mine in over 3 years ago, correctly, following the instructions, and everything still works as it should. But I've slept a few times since then and can't even begin to answer the question!😟
  4. I always try to keep enough cash to buy fuel to get home on, or preferably, just keep the tanks full enough to get back home, should the need arise.
  5. Yeah, until people start staying in them for days at a time.
  6. Sorry to hear about the passing of your friend. Sounds like he will be missed by many. Prayers for his family and friends.
  7. Wow! Your friend's Dad had a very interesting career! The word "retire" doesn't appear to be in your vocabulary!
  8. Sorry to hear about your friend.🙏
  9. I've got a 2009 Newmar, Torrey Pine. I went with the Sailuns this last time and so far so good, but will probably try the H-901 next time just because of all the good things I've read about them. I didn't know about the Strong Guard. I don't run 80 except maybe briefly on a downhill, but I like the idea of having more tire than I need.
  10. I wish I could remember the details of my install.😳
  11. I like to double that time, especially if it is cold outside.

    Weights

Trailer takes about 500 pounds off my front axle. Singled long. Haul a Smart car.
  14. What Larry said. I'll probably have the oldest truck there and possibly trailer as well. We've traveled all over with it. You can do this for a lot less money than you would think if you are so inclined.
  15. Always hate to hear stories like that! So far, my worst one cost me $5300 and extra week in Florida. Luckily, we could stay with the grandkids while the truck was in the shop for a week.
  16. I'm guessing a person that just did one hitch during peace time, wouldn't meet the qualifications for their definition of veteran? EDIT: I checked it out and I'd qualify!

    Myth Busters

There are several good comments to these videos as well. I've been a subscriber to his channel for a while now.
  20. That is a good deal! I'm all Apple. But, my computers are so old I've limited out on OS updates. Contemplating now whether I stay with Apple or move back to Windows.
  21. I've got YouTube TV. The only reason I keep it is for live sports.
  22. I agree with you there! There was a guy parting one out on one of those places the other day. I didn't try to buy anything from him so I don't know how it would work. I think it was on one of the Facebook pages.
  23. If you are not on the Smart Car Forums and Smart Car Facebook pages, now would be a good time to join them. See wheels and parts and ideas all the time on those pages. They are pretty active.
