My combined weight with full everything and two bikes was 43,600 lbs, so maintaining the sweet spot of 1650 RPM under all conditions requires lots of splits. Also on steep downgrades, the Jake will hold a steady speed without brakes if the correct split is chosen. Just food for thought...
  3. I purchased it in 2006, and it's a 2000 VNL64T770 (boasts the largest integral sleeper available whereas the 660 is not as wide or as long). Tires were new all the way around. Tires only have about 10,000 miles on them and have been protected when not in use. The tires show no sign of checking at all. The rear axle ratio is 3.58 and the tranny is an 18 speed http://www.roadranger.com/rr/ProductsServices/ProductsbyCategory/Transmissions/PCT_486870 MODEL 18 SPEED Lbs-Ft. Max TQ.
