Thank you everyone.  My wife is getting older and is having some difficulty with climbing the steps into the HDT.  Having owned an HDT, I do agree with the power and the creature comforts of the cabs.  I saw a 2015 Sportchassis at a dealership and thought it may be a good alternative.  I know that I will end up giving up power and performance and a nice fully equipped cab......... hmmmmm, Why did I get married?  

So for now I am looking at a Sportchassis and all of your experience with these trucks is invaluable for me.  Thanks! 

Are there any problems with the 2015 Sportchassis RHA350's that I should look out for if I buy a low mileage used one to tow my 22,000 lb 5th wheel?

Thanks.  It extends out to about double that length and the head pivots up and down so that you can get the correct angle.  I use it all of the time.  Mostly with the clay pad now since I keep using a ceramic spray every 6 mos-year.

I made a long reach buffer out of an electric weed Wacker that has an adjustable head and extendable arm.  Works great for claying and buffing my truck roof.

I made a buffer out of an extendable electric weed eater.  I stand on a 12 foot ladder and do 1/2 at a time.  Works great, but you really have to feather the throttle, or you get too much speed.  I was able to synthetic clay bar my roof and wax it in no time.

I have a Pilot RV card through Good Sam.  It let's me fill up to $3,000.00 a day and gives me a 9 cent a gallon discount, which means that I pay at Pilot what I would pay somewhere else since Pilot usually has prices that are 9 cents higher than everyone else

I swipe thier card at the pump and just fill up with any combination of diesel and /or DEF and go.

I do.  I wrap a Terry towel around the wash mit on my wash pole ( I secure it with safety pins).  I stand on a 12 foot ladder and apply a thin coat of polymer wax.  Once it dries, I replace the Terry towel with a fresh one and wipe it off.  I replace the towel once more and spray an instant detailer on the roof and wipe it down to get rid of any haze.

I installed a transfer flow 98 gallon aux fuel tank in the bed of my 2014 Ram 3500 dually.  One of the best options that I had.  The only down side was that it took away payload capacity which resulted in my trailer pin weight overloading my dually.  

The transfer flow tank was awesome and provided great range .

I have the cab heater and use it whenever it's cold out and I'm going to spend time without idling.  It does an awesome job.  I don't use it once a month and it's not even a year old, so I have not changed the fuel filter yet either.

I have been getting 13.8mpg bobtail and 9.8 mpg towing 22k both at 70mph.

2018 VNL730, D13, 500 HP, I shift, 2.93 rear. Truck weighs about 18k by itself, full of fuel, etc.
