  1. Has anyone used Western Union to complete a sale. I have been trying to research how to use them but still not sure how it works Thanks for any info Stan
  2. I took mine out and replaced the little battery that is soldered to the circuit board. it is to supply memory power when the truck is off. I sure was glad when it was all back in and the truck started right up. it was the last active code I fixed so now no codes.
  3. I think it would be the same as any auto assuming it's a 12-volt system. If it is a 12-volt system the battery's if charged should be at 13.2 volts You will need a multimeter set to DC volts, with the coach running check the voltage at the coach battery's They should read somewhere between 13.5 to 14.2 volts if itis charging. Turn on the headlights and blower motor, the voltage should stay in the 13.5 to 14.2 volts range. If the voltage falls off, I would pull the alternator of and have it checked at an auto parts store
  4. My Key looks like Chet's key, If your key looks like his picture let me know so I can go talk to the Volvo Dealer again Thanks Stan
  5. My 2000 has a odd looking set of keys, I don't know what a sidewinder key looks like, mine is a rectangle key with groves cut in the wider side of the rectangle. I went to two lock smiths and a Volvo dealer and no one could make new keys for me.
  6. Remembered to look for the city horn today , It is inside the left frame rail right behind the radiator mount. sorry it took so long just kept forgetting to look. Stan
  7. I have a 2000 610 the air horn is inside the right frame rail just behind the radiator mount. I have never looked for the city horn, but I will look tomorrow.
  8. Really like the name, The graphics look great. what a long road back, took a lot to see it through. Happy Travels.
  9. I had to remove my 150-gal tank, I was able to pump it out so it was completely. the tank was a lot lighter than I thought it would be. I cribbed it up in place to reconnect the straps. If you run the fuel down and can do one strap at a time it should be too bad.
  10. I was looking at getting a Fumoto drain plug but according to the specks it made me nervous about how far it hug down. I guess the only way it would get damaged is something flying up off the road. Has anyone had a issue with damage?
  11. Good to feel useful and projects keep your skills up.
  12. On my 2000 Volvo with a Detroit S60 the only outlet on the left-side tank is the crossover hose to the right-side tank. The right-side tank supply's the fuel feed to the engine and the return fuel line goes to the right tank, I have no fuel splitter on the supply or the return. Don't know if this is correct way to do it but it has been working fine for years.
  13. My truck is a 2000 Volvo and there is a valve that looks like that under the left rear corner of the cab. The only way I can get to it is to remove the fairing. It might have been move when the last owner had the bed installed but that is where mine is, I have my air hose connection connected to it also.
  14. I pulled with a 2004 F-350 DRW long box, I had about 5 inches of clearance between the box and my 5er. The only time I had an issue was when I drove over the edge of the driveway down into my parent's yard, the rear most top of the box would get very close to the 5er. I always tried to keep an eye on my clearance when on uneven ground, But not really an issue.
  15. There is a product called Collision Wrap, it comes on a 36-inch-wide roll. It sticks on very well and is made to cover parts of cars that are damaged to prevent more water damage. You should be able to get it at any auto body supply shop or I think Amazon sells it. It works great for covering broken glass.
  16. Thanks for the info, The ride was already much better than the old tires so any improvement over the first trip will be a bonus. Stan
  17. Installed 4 new drive tires and took her out for a ride. Had 40 above today and the roads were dry so it was a good time to try out the new tires.
  18. Looking good, it's crazy what you have been through on the ordeal, Glad to see you are almost done with all the repairs.
  19. I bought a HDT and sold my F-350, never looked back. Better Ride, better power and better stopping, and can drive much longer comfortably (when necessary). I pull about 16,000lbs and get 9mpg at about 65mph. I just love driving it. See if you can get an inspection before you buy it. I bought mine in an online auction so no inspection and got lucky it's been a great truck.
  20. View from my camp site in Osseo WI, beautiful sunset
  21. Thank you everyone for the information, I did get in contact with Starlink and they are sending me a new mount and I send the damaged one back today.
  22. If the brake controller is electronic you might read 12 volts on the truck blue wire because of leakage. When the brakes are plugged in the voltage will go to zero until the brakes are applied. Not sure if this is what's happening here but I have seen this on lots of other electronic equipment
  23. Sweet, I really like the color Congrats
  24. Thanks for the info Gary I tried what you suggested but it wouldn't let me submit a support request, I will try again and thanks Sheldons65 for the contact info that might help too.
  25. Hi all I ordered some additional parts for my Starlink. One of the things is a Long Wall Mount and it came damaged, I have looked at my online account for a way to contact them about getting a replacement/exchange, but I have not been able to find anything. There must be away I just can't see it. Thanks for any help
