Thanks. I don't really understand why I need to go to a different site to post a picture. Other forums support picture posting from within the site.

Think in terms of space .

You want to live in a 800 square foot house , but , you have 1600 square feet of 'stuff' . You can't or don't want to afford a big house for all the junk , I mean stuff . Hmm , you low rent a storage space for the stuff you really don't use/need very often .

Ha . You're a genius . You saved a lot of money and can now afford to pay the next rent / mortgage payment and maybe even keep the lights on in your cozy little home . ;)

Well. I will 1st plead the fifth if any of this is ever turned back onto me, but here is a true story of getting rid of bad tenants who won't move out after all notices have been served.

It is not hard to find someone who knows someone else who knows a group of bikers.  It might cost you a keg, but just ask the guys (a small group maybe 10 guys) to show up on a Wednesday at the house in question and inform the delinquent tenants that they are the new renters and will be back on Saturday to move in!  House was vacated by Friday night!   Owner was pleased.

Another positive for the biking community . ;)

Yes,  I remember... not fondly .... the Michigan winters. We got all the lake effect snow dropped on us.  Don't miss it.

I have been missing the Michigan summers lately . We recently bought a house in western Arkansas and the temps have been more than I really care for .

I was talking about the coast.... Gulf Shores, AL.   Once you go inland, yes it's cold and snows.

That must be a very special place .

We were 4 miles from the Mississippi gulf coast during that ice storm and I can say , first hand , there was plenty of ice and idiots on the roads and ditches .

We spent 4 winters at that camp and every one had cold spells . Granted , nothing like the west Michigan winters we were use to , but ...  ;)

No snow on the coast of Alabama!  We spent a couple winters at Gulf State Park, Gulf Shores, AL.

Hmm , there was enough ice to close down 10 and make just about every other road a death threat about 7 years ago . But , usually it's pretty decent .

Oh , what about a couple years back when the whole country was in a deep freeze ?

Alabama didn't get anything cold out of that ?

Just curious , we were in mid-east Texas and had snow and ice . ;)

I absolutely agree with you, they should keep these kids on leashes 🤣

I recall being one of those toddlers .

I guess my mom got tired of having to find me somewhere other than where she thought she left me .

Namely , at the neighbors house or somewhere down the street .

She quickly figured out that fastening the rope to my chest area was futile .

And , I couldn't untie it when she fastened it at my back , dang it . LOL

Hmm ., maybe the wandering soul started early in me . ;)

For my Volvo I cut a piece of "reflectix". I think it's a 48 inch wide(or tall) and I have folded over one edge to make it fit better. It's much better at blocking the sun than the "Privacy Screens, but I still close them behind the reflective insulation stuff. You will need a light inside for most things though. I've also cut pieces for the other windows and the "Skylight".

    Rod

Not an HDT , but , just to say that we do the same in our Monaco motor home windshield . Much better at blocking light and adding an insulation layer .

  8. That dump water looks way too clean to even be a grey tank dump . I saw nothing but water ... no floaters or any sign of paper .

Seems to me they put some water in the grey tank and filmed dumping that .

I'd be letting them know that they will be able to read a current negative review on any or all of the following :

Where can I write a review about a company?

    • Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business)
    • Facebook Page reviews.
    • Angi (formerly Angie's List)
    • Better Business Bureau.
    • ConsumerAffairs.

Meds and intestinal functions are just the tip of a big iceberg, Rick.  We can discuss that more if you want?  😂😂

While sitting around some , no doubt . Don't forget the ice cream . LOL

  10. We had a Norcold 1200 series 4 door . It was great until the control boards started missing steps and finally just ran in one mode only . Tried new boards , which worked for a few years . Then even new boards wouldn't work , so ...

Not being particularly interested in spending 10 times the cost of a residential fridge for a direct replacement , we found a unit that fit and has the same capacity as the OEM .

The only real disadvantage of going residential is it runs on AC only .

But , being better insulated , it holds cold longer and ice cream actually gets hard in any part of the freezer .  ;)

While walking pups, no. Only people, sure, quietly. No pups because they can leave wet spots at a moments notice, plus the empty site may have leftovers on the ground we don’t want them to get at.

Depending on the layout, we often set quasi barriers in our own site to keep out short cutters. Our heads sleep in a slide and in the past, short cutters have woken us up by walking into the slide.

Musta been drunk or people that should be under supervision short cutters . ;)

All of which would have been avoided if instead of throwing out baseless innuendo, Pat & Pete had taken a couple of seconds to see if what they were "wondering" about was factual, realized it wasn't, and not even put out in the universe that the people behind Nomad Insurance are the same as the fraudsters behind Nomad Internet.

     Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day . ;)

They're not, and takes just a couple of seconds to find that out.  And it's probably a lot fairer to Nomad Insurance to do that than to "wonder" and put it in people's minds.

IF it was of any real concern , a search would be the first thing done .

I'm sure I am the only person that wondered . Oh , maybe you were the second . At least enough that you did a search  .

Thanks for that . Now , the folks reading this thread know . ;)
