  1. I have been there without RV and even won a good amount of money at the Craps tables. If I were going to RV at a casino it would be Coushatta in Kinder, LA. They give us a $20 per night deal, sometimes free if you have been there recently and gambled. Tuesday buffet for seniors for $5 or free most of the time. It is a first class RV park, all pull throughs and they pick you up at your RV and take you to the casino and back. A first class RV park about 70 miles west of Baton Rouge.
  2. The observatory is worth a few visits if you are there.
  3. All of my RV trips are well planned with reservations. I don't even like to stay for one night anywhere.
  4. I recently had to replace both of my screen door handle stops on my fiver. They were made of cheap plastic. I found the easy to find from Lippert for three dollars each. I got four of then because I know they will break again. At lease I can find them.
  5. I can attest that they don't work in humid climates. I have seen them recently in El Paso, Texas.
  6. I wonder if people like me who own two RV lots in Cedarville, UP of MI, will ever have to worry then not letting us go there because of the virus?
  7. I just read read that Germany gets more then half of its energy from renewables. I have also asked my son-in-law, who is an engineer with Exxon, when they announced a lay off why didn't the just transfer then to their renewable department. He responded that Exxon didn't have a renewable department. He added that they don't think it would make enough money.
  8. I have never heard of an arrest for non jury either but I read about a Harris County Judge, Houston, having the officers go around to peoples work who didn't show up for jury duty and bring them to the court. That was many years ago and I wondered how they knew where they worked? That was when 60% of those called didn't show up. I have had people tell me that they just through the notice in the garbage because they come regular first class mail and that there was no way to prove that they where received.
  9. And they don't slow you down if you use to much data?
  10. I have never used a free spot. We don't do no hookups, ever.
  11. I just don't understand the concern? I am 71 years old and if I get a jury duty notice I would not be concerned at all. If I am away I am no coming to Livingston. What are they going to do to me? Nothing! I will not loose sleep over it! Just give them a call?
  12. Most of the secondary cell companies use ATT or Verizon cell towers. Maybe T Mobil has many of their own tower now that they merged with Sprint. But if you don't use the hot spot for internet you can get better prices from one of the resellers?
  13. I expect an RV to be what I want when I buy it and not have to do major modifications.
  14. I use the Reese puck for Ford F350 but not a dually. 2018 F350, long bed, crew cab, 4WD.
  15. I also think that is enough truck but I wouldn't expect great MPG. Good Luck
  16. I have never had any issue on that route.
  17. Yes it will be an F350 for everyday use but I have always drove pickups and a non dually is just about right for us old people as long as we can climb up into the cab.
  18. If you are going to do a lot of moving a MH could be good. I you park and stay in one place a lot them a fiver could be better. I spend the summer in the UP so we got fivers last three RVs.
  19. If I can do it so can you. If you have SAT on roof? Turn on both the DirecTV or Dish and SAT controller. Wait, I takes a few minutes to connect to SAT. If you are lucky you just follow the on screen directions. One TV at a time, we have three. Good Luck? If no good call them and they may walk you thru it.
  20. The IRS started accepting 2020 Tax returns on February 12th. If you filed thru Turbo Tax or Tax Act before then they held them until February 12th when the IRS would accept them.
  21. I, like above, always have financing before I go to the dealer, autos, trucks, trailers and RVs. Mostly over the years the dealers got me better interest rates then I had and I wouldn't tell them what rate I had. Only two times did I end up using the financing that I had.
  22. We spend our summers in the UP, Cedarville, on two RV lots that we own. We always travel over the Mighty Mac. If it is very windy the will run trucks with you to break the wind. Have fun.
  23. As noted above, I would try a hair drier first.
