  1. Sounds like you're all having a great time, wish we could be there. The weather sounds wonderful. we stopped by Williams to see the Grand Canyon , had to stay an extra day due to high winds and now there is snow on the ground, oh well. Have fun and post some pics. Aggie
  2. Wow, I'll say. Spent yesterday and today shaving and bathing cats. It is so amazing how skinny they really are when you remove 3 to 4 inches of hair. I look at the pile of hair and then at the cat and I swear, the pile of hair is twice as big as the cat. My neighbors thought I was beating a kid. Max kept yelling OWW, OWW, OWWW. They had a good laugh when they realized it was Max protesting the indignities of a bath. My poor aching back. Still have 2 more to go . It has been so windy today. 5er is shaking like it is going to blow away. Watched the 1st episode of the Bible. Very good. Some artistic license going on there tho.
  3. Sharon, I know. Problem is when you type something, go back and read what you typed and the whole page is full of red squiggly lines. I love the desert. But I am surprised how 70 degrees can feel cold in the desert! It's that lack of moisture thing. It's been averaging 28 to 30 at nights and warming up to 58 to 63 in the day. Still requires a jacket but everything I start to complain, I think about Michigan and smile
  4. Alicia, The pictures were awsome. WOW. I loved the story about the baby elk. So Cute! We have a 300 mm lens and trust me on this, it wasn't big enough. I so want the 1000 to 1500 mm Lens.......I just can't afford it Oh well, I can dream. Sue, How is the rebuild comming? I have seen some of the pictures of the Dram box. I love how he used roll up doors. I have always wondered how you could get into the box without taking the car off the back. Such a simple solution Janet, I thought by now you would have your 100 recipes! I felt bad about sending you so many. Now I am wondering if I can dig up some more for you. Girls, get it in gear, come on. LOL I give up trying to spell. I have made so many mistakes since I started this post and corrected most of them but I refuse to feel stupid. I am having a blond moment.... Live with it
  5. Off2ynp- a zoom lens is something you will never regret when you go to Yellowstone NP. The bigger the better. Some of the pictures & wildlife you will have an opportunity to take will be quite a distance away. I have never regretted my zoom lens
  6. Greg & Aggie: Huachua City, Az until the end of March
  7. Sharon, thanks for the birthday reminders, I put then in my phone so I can remember then . As DH keeps telling me," My mind is as long as my penis....That's right I don't have one ". I am relying more and more on my phone. God help me if it ever gets stolen! I will be so lost. I am glad to hear that Richard is ok. God works in misterious ways, his wonders to preform.... I love the kitty condo. SWEEEEEEET . No more crawling in and out. Hope it contains the barfing problem. New Ears Day?..... Cute Jan 1 was our 36th anniversity and I spent it getting over a bug . Feeling better today. Actually feel human. I hope everyones New Year celibration was fun and enjoyable. Looking forward to the new year. I am not making any New Years resolutions because I never keep them... so I am starting the new year off with no broken promises to myself.
  8. Hi everyone. I see everyone survived another dooms day Just wanted to wish you all a wonderful and blessed Christmas and a Joyful and Happy New Years. Hope everyone is where they need and want to be for Christmas. Sharon, we were in Yellowstone the 1st week of July and they still had snow in the ditches and gullies. It was beautiful, the buffelo, moose and elk had just dropped their calfs, lots of wild life to see. I wouldn't go any earlier than that. Devana, That was a beautiful and very generous gift that Fannie made for your grandkids. Beautiful work. She must like your grand kids a lot . Alicia, it was good to hear from you. Glad you are ok, we were beginning to wonder if you were mad at us or what. Merry "Christ"mas. May God bless us all. Greg and Aggie
  9. Where's pictures of the kitty condo?
  10. We just went on the road fultime in April and presently in the Southwest for the winter. Are you from GR or just visiting? We used to live there for many years.

  11. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Dito Sharon, Please remember all those who have served our country and made it possible for us to enjoy this day of Thanksgiving Day. Please pray for all those serving away from their families that they wil stay safe. We had a very nice pot luck at the park today with all our new RVing family. It was a beautiful day here today, about 74 for a high. LOVE it! To all those who have had a birthday this last week: 11/15 - Ute Czetli 11/16 - Michal Bagley 11/16 - Alana Sue Guthrie 11/18 - Davena Szmyt Happy Birthday, and may you have many, many more. I haven't been on line this week so I haven't been able to wish anyone happy birthday, sorry. Love the quotes Sue. Very appropriate. Glad to hear the rebuild is comming along good. Bet you can't wait until it is all over and you can finally enjoy your rig! Took up a new hobby this week. Bead Working. Love it. Don't know if I will stay with it, but it is letting me make some jewellry to match some of the things I have and I think a lot of people will get Jewellry for Christmas this year. Already made 2 bracelets, 2 necklaces, and 4 sets of ear rings.
  12. Decided to make Prickly Pear Cactus Jam and Jelly today. Never tried it before and it is an interestering process. The Jelly is real good. Haven't tried the Jam yet. Has anyone made any other kind of different jellys or jams with some other exotic fruit other than the old stand bys? Susan, so glad you guys are alright. Thanks God for having enough truck to stop in time. How is the refit going? Rachel, I went through that last year, actually still have a small stack of papers and pictures that still need digitizing. At the start it was so overwhelming, but as the pile goes down , it is truely a wonderful feeling of freedom to get rid of all the clutter in your life. Sharon, how are you doing. I had hoped the house had sold by now. Sorry to hear otherwise. I just love finding the right face to fit the sentiment LOL
  13. Morning all. Sharon, that was cute. We are not doing a lot right now. Just so nice to get up in the morning, drink coffee outside in sweats and by 9 am changing into shorts. It's amazing how in the desert, 70 degrees can seem so cold. I know I havn't acclumated yet, so it has got to be lack of humidity in the air. Went to the Arizona Desert Museum in Tucson yesterday. Very nice. Finding I love the desert with all it's assorted weird plants and cacti. Also find myself rambling this morning, think I need more coffee. I'll get back at ya when I am more awake
  14. Glad to here everyone made it through Sandy ok. 15 minutes, that's just not right Can't wait until we get that good. Loved the jokes. Keep them comming. Lets keep everyone on the coast in our prayers..
  15. Heidi, That is such a cute picture. It's one of those pictures you keep and put away until he has kids of his own and his kid does the same thing and Dad is so upset, so then you pull out the picture and use it to put some prespective (emotional blackmail) into the situation  As to how long it takes me to set up/break down... Well, if we have been set up for a while (months), it is one day for "pre-packing" all the things I have left setting out for every day use. Then the morning of the move, about an hour inside and outside. I have never actually timed it so I could be off 15 to 30 minutes either way. What takes to long for me is moving the cats from the RV to the Truck. I put together a check list for inside and outside and had them laminated. Bought a couple china markers and we just check off things as we do it. Saves time and piece of mind second guessing our selves and worrying if we forgot something. This is especially true when you have been setting for a month or so.
  16. Hi ladies. Sharon you are right. I haven't been chatting like I can. We are sitting in Hauchuca City, AZ. Weather here is great. 75 to 85 in the day time 50 - 64 at night. Have just been taking some down time and getting some things organized in the camper. Haven't been following the post until today. Thanks for the info on the recipes. I have several I want to send to you. Have to put that on my to do list. So glad to here Kurt is doing so well. It could have been so much worse. Just goes to show the power of prayer. Praise God! Sue, I am so glad to hear your refit is going so well. It is just such a shame to spend all that time and money and get such sloppy workmanship. Keep us posted on how things are going.
  17. Had a wonderful tme at the rally. Not sure if I get these in the right order. 1 )Coolest idea was a couple of the apps for my new phone. Got milk and Cardstar. Thanks Dale 2) Pearl of wisdom was hubby needs to get out of the truck and walk the site before backing it in instead of relying on me to put him where he wants to be. Saves some "heated discussions". Thanks Jack 3) Crap.....CRS strikes again........ On the bright side met a lot of new friends and got reacquainted with some old (hi Jacolyn ) friends. By the end of the rally I was peopled out..... I'll recover in a day or too. On our way to Arizona. Stopping in Oklahoma City to check out the Cowboy museum. Does anyone know who am I supposed to send my recipes to for the cook book? What's her e-mail address? Aggie

  19. Rick,. don't youi know you can stop on a dime, at least that's what most of the drivers in most large towns think.
  20. Calmax, William, and Ed, welcome to the forums, got questions plenty of answers here. Ed, great decision on the BIG truck, might as well have enough truck so you don't have to worry about anything. We're kind of in your neck of the woods till second week of Sept. ( Just south of Huntington )

  23. Hey Sharon; Thanks for the tip on those little baskets. They are starting to pop up all over the place. So handy when you have a lot of little things that don't fit anywhere and are allways falling out of a cabinet or getting lost ( Tubes of chap stick ) Aggie
