  1. Yep, air lines will not come out easily if the line is pressurized. Would also recommend buying a set of these. Makes life much easier and you will use them a lot. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Lisle-Air-Line-Disconnect-Set-5-Piece-LIS42400/207010907?cm_mmc=Shopping|THD|google|&mid=sBW7BiWnK|dt_mtid_8903tb925190_pcrid_195274179091_pkw__pmt__product_207010907_slid_&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIsbazreiE2AIVikoNCh06bwYzEAQYBSABEgKX5PD_BwE
  2. Dennis, Have to give credit to MrSeas for the parts numbers. He originally posted them. I posted the Harbor Freight picks I got. Don’t get the heavy duty ones. They don’t work as well as the flimsy ones. I actually took one of them and using needle nose pliers turned a tiny hook on the tip so it would grab the ring.
  3. Take out the collet (metal piece) with your fingers or grabbing edge with needle nose pliers, use dental pics (from Harbor Freight) to “dig out” old o-ring. Sometimes they can be hard and brittle so be sure and get all the pieces. Center of connector will have small tube that will go inside airline for rigidity (it is solid in fitting and won’t come out with dental pics) so don’t be concerned. Clean connector with alcohol and q-tip or pipe cleaner and blow dry with air. Insert proper new o-ring ( sometimes requires manipulation with dental pics, not sharp point). Reinsert collet, cut off bit of airline past old indention from collet, be sure cut is square. Securely push back in connector and pull back slightly to get collet to catch. Not a hard job and the collets can be cleaned and re-used if not damaged. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018A1X1VA/ref=asc_df_B018A1X1VA5298872/?tag=hyprod-20&creative=395009&creativeASIN=B018A1X1VA&linkCode=df0&hvadid=193227207088&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17704666764576378080&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=t&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9013361&hvtargid=pla-373160725397
  4. Wow, thanks Phil. Amazing how many awful things can occur in a few seconds.

You are right about the rouge. Bronco recommended the green bar, said it was sold at all the truck stops. Well he ended up shipping me supplies from California because Tennessee Truck Stops quit selling it. My luck.

The master of "shiny" on this forum is Broncohauler. But very nice job.

Rocky, Thought we had one lined up for ECR two years ago. Guy was all excited. Gave him dates, he picked a day, never heard or saw him after that conversation. Reliability is a necessity for the rallies. Ask Steve Dixon about schedules and "no shows".
  8. Chad, Would you mind sharing the highlights of your discussion with me or in this thread or another? It is a project I'm considering in my DRV at a future date. My email is ecrcarl@gmail.com if needed.
  9. My muffler did the same thing going to the National rally two years ago. Hardest thing was getting the top pipe loose. Watch how it comes off as it sits snug in kind of a slot. If you don't seat it right the support clamps won't go back around. Again congrats on the truck.
  10. Congrats Blue. This can turn into a real PITA, can't it? Also very important to read the policy cause sometimes it's not apples to apples comparisons when changing companies.
  11. Pat, If its a Horton Fan Clutch, J &K truck repair in Crossville was where I was going to take mine but my air leak (seal) was so bad I didn't trust driving 60 miles. They do the Horton Gold Top replacements and had the cheapest prices around for the whole job. J&K said probably $1200 or less, I paid just shy of $2000 at Volvo dealer. Could at least have them look at it. Was actually scheduled with their service manager after talking with him and finding out they do a lot of them. I know several folks from the ECR have gone over there and had work done and were satisfied.
  12. I don't know the exact model but I bought a cheapo WalMart brand (Small) for about $50 and it works great for what you want to do. It's not going to cook a pot roast though.
  13. Al, I am registered as a Motorhome. I see nothing on my papers from Miller that refers to "Class". It does say "usage" and that heading lists "pleasure/commute". I am by no means shilling for Miller but when I talked to them several times on the phone they knew exactly what my truck was and what its use was. The agent told me their agency had been dealing with our kind for many years. Again I searched numerous places for coverage so I have no loyalty to one agency or brand of insurance. I'm out to get the best coverage for the least I can pay. If one companies premium was higher and the coverage was better, I would go with it.
  14. They actually asked if I was full time so I assume they cover it. Since we have no plans to be, I didn't explore any further.
  15. I just bound my policy with National General through Miller Insurance Agency (503) 636-6347. I am moving from Blue Sky due to the underwriting difficulties they are experiencing. My new policy has the same coverages and actually a better personal effects coverage and is $15 less than my Blue Sky policy. I specifically asked about coverage for tandem trucks since that issue was brought up here and my agent with Miller said it is usually not an issue. They did require pictures of my rig. Just wanted to get the info out there for those still searching for coverage. BTW I spoke with State Farm, Progressive, Farm and City, Allstate and this was the best (and cheapest) coverage for me in TN.
  16. So glad you are able to attend the 2017 ECR and conduct the RDBE meeting on Wednesday. We have missed you.
  17. My Kubota B7200 is 18hp and 14hp at the PTO. I have a 60" bush hog, 60" pull behind finish mower, and box blade. No trouble with operating any of them. Have had the bush hog in 48" overgrowth on our hunting lease and it did just fine. Just went slow.
  18. I have a 15 y.o. Kubota B7200 with the hydrostatic transmission. In the 15 years only real problem was that I had Woods front end loader hydraulics valves rebuilt. Replacement Kubota branded parts are expensive (metric) but I found with a good bench grinder I can make tractor supply turnbuckles work for a fifth of the price. I also have a John Deere lawn tractor ( basically a riding mower) bought from the John Deere Dealer not Lowes or HD which are knock-offs. My only complaint with John Deere is not the equipment but their customer service in my area, but that's a story in itself.
  19. East Coast Rally Update: Several days during the rally there will be a scheduled ladies crafting/ social gathering. Donna has been working with Alicia White ( thank you Alicia) and they have come up with crafting a scrapbook detailing the ECR, HDTing, and each person's involvement in their RVing adventure. The plan is to allow each lady to create two pages front and back that would best illustrate their personal adventure. Basic scrap booking supplies will be provided but they are asking for any lady wishing to be involved to bring any photos, mementos, etc. that they wish to include. The hope is the book can be displayed at the BBQ dinner on Friday night and at happy hours if completed prior. Those ladies not interested in participating are still invited to show up for "socializing" and arm chair quarterbacking. Alicia will also be conducting the RDBE meeting at the ECR.
  20. Steve, under options, look at "Gail" for the top of the line back massager
