    I expect the road conditions in South East New Mexico did nothing to soothe the "Mr. Cob".

US 285 from Ft. Stockton, TX to Roswell, NM is TERIABLE.

We hoped to escape hot weather but it was 99 on Saturday when we arrived.

We will be here through Thursday then to Ft. Bridger, WY.

The service was great, swift and the owner was quite friendly.

We broke a spring just west of Dodge on Saturday. I called and left a message stating what I needed on Sat.

Monday when I called to confirm if they could take care of me they said" I thought that was you sitting in our drive". Anyway they replaced two springs and had me on the road by 2:30pm.Great people to deal with and fair prices.

BS Trailer Sales has been recommended for the spring.  Should I replace  both rear springs at this time?

Sitting at Gunsmoke RV Park in Dodge City, KS with a broken spring and ruined trailer tire.

It is my understanding that only the standard transmission (clutch pedal) 453 can be flat towed.

Sitting at Lost Alaskan in Alpine, Texas. Will be here all week.

Cowboy Poets  Gathering Friday and Saturday.We have been coming for 8 or 9 years.

In the past we made reservations a year ahead.They have changed the procedure.If anyone would like  to come next year, they will start taking reservation on June 1 of this year.

We have one in the S&B, so the bed is the same at home or on the road.

This is a nice park , but not really Big Rig friendly

Lost Alaskan RV park in Alpine is a great park, but will be full the first week-end of March (Texas Cowboy Poets Gathering).

Sitting at S&B in Midland, TX until we leave for Hutch.

I bought an ET Jr. for delivery at the rally.

I hope to be able to draft enough help to put it on my Toter.

Finally arrived at Rio Chama. 

Found a Renegade Truck Conversion in the park. I will find out today who it is.

We will be here until Sept. 06.

Sitting at Enchanted Trails RV Park in Alburquerque, NM. On our way to Chama, NM via Cortez, CO. We will spend 3 night here then 3 nights in Cortez. We will be in Chama  at Rio Chama RV Park (in Site R-3)  until Sept 5. 

If any of you want to spend quiet time at 8,000ft. come to Chama. The train runs from Memorial day week-end until mid Oct. 

Rio Chama has sites large enough for our kind and they are used to me.

We have had Good Sam for years. They have changed tires on our trailer and towed our Volvo multiple times. One tow was from Rico, CO to Farmington, NM

Have never had a problem. Will continue with it.

We are now at home in Midland, TX.

Had a great time in Hutchinson,then to Mineola, TX for HRRC Texas state rally.

Spent over 2 hours in a traffic jam just east of Mineral Wells, TX.

Sitting in Blue Spruce RV Park, Bayfield, CO until 19 Sept. Then home VIA Santa Fe and Roswell, NM.

We are in Rio Chama RV Park in Chama, NM.

This is our 9th year in a row in this park.

Management is very friendly and there is a great bunch of Texans who spend two or months here each year.

Right next to the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railway.

Hight today was 76.
