palamine
I think Freud has a hand in here. We've been here for 2 weeks and I just remembered to move our peg.  We are still warm and comfortable. Dad is not getting any better and we think he will probably be placed in care rather than be sent home. That would be best for all of us. We visit every other day and Dad always has some errand for us to run.  We try to have "nothing" days and we try to do fun things too. We have been visiting with family and friends. This weekend we are a bit overloaded, pun intended, we are helping Graeme and Adrienne move. sandsys
Thanks for everyone's good wishes for my Dad and me. He said he'd be ready to go if it didn't mean leaving my stepmother. They've been together nearly 50 good years. My oldest brother and his daughter are flying home from Phoenix tomorrow to spend some last time with Dad. We have not decided when we'll go yet. We're waiting for my brother's input as to how things look to him. It's a long drive for us so we don't want to go too soon nor too late. Man, I miss having our RV to travel in and to stay in while we are there! sandsys
My brother got home Tuesday and my Dad passed that night. I did not expect him to go so quickly based on what Dad told me just Sunday. So, we'll be going home next week for the memorial service. Those of you who pray, please, do so for my step-mother; she won't be able to live alone so she has a lot of decisions and work in front of her since she's lived in that house for somewhere around 60 years.
