Richard came out Saturday to see what he was getting into then came again Sunday to make the repair. I helped so of course he charged double LOL. One of our slipper leaf springs was out of its pocket. We sure had a wonderful time and met lots of wonderful people. We didn't get a chance to say bye to all of you. Left Springfield about 8 o'clock this morning. Instead of following 60 across I took highway US Highway 63. It was very pretty but the road through the Ozark Mountains was two lane and quite twisty. and then there was construction in Memphis it took almost 2 hours to get through. Jim and Cathy It was great to meet you guys when y'all stopped by forks RV while we here greeting some repairs done. Sorry it was a little hectic while you were here. Lots of people pulling me in a lot of direction. We had new ac units installed as domectic, they agreed ours were way to noisy. New ones are amazing. Had a mor ryde axle destroy a set of bearing on the drive here. So Monday they are replacing all bearing, this after replacing the defective assembly. Jim Gell Posted October 25, 2014 Report Share Posted October 25, 2014 JC, We saw you up in Mishawaka yesterday on our way back from the Flat Top Grill in the mall there. It was the first time we ate at one of those and we liked it a lot. We ordered a custom dinette/credenza today from an Amish woodworker (Focal Wood Products) in Nappanee. He will build it this coming week and install it on Friday, so we will be hanging out in the area around Goshen, Indiana until then. Our first project for him was to make some pieces we needed to install our flat panel TV in living room. They look good and I will try to install the TV while we are hanging out here. We will also take the trailer to White Pigeon during the week and ask the Big Foot folks if they can make some changes to the installation they did. I just hope we can hang on to this gorgeous weather we are experiencing a bit longer. It will make us nervous thinking of prepping for our first freezing weather, and it looks like we won't get south enough fast enough to miss it. Our slide seals are done, but they said we could stay the weekend. We heard the campground at the fairgrounds in Goshen will still be open, so we will probably head there when we leave Precision Paint on Monday. Really don't like going to CA with their 55 MPH when towing and they do watch for it. Not to forget the terrible roads, rougher then a cob in most places. Spent 9 days in Atascadero, CA visiting kin in Fresno and other places. Today we Pulled into Emerald Cove on the CA side of the CA side of the Colorado River from Parker, AZ where we will be until April. We will be here until December 1, provided we don't get snowed in. It's a very pretty morning with light snow now, see picture, but it's about to get brutally cold. (10 F tonight, 13 below with wind chill) I think I winterized the trailer OK, ... guess we will find out. We are sleeping in the house and will de-winterize the trailer when we get to Charleston SC in December.
