Update...Yesterday....

Alice was transferred from the hospital in Las Vegas NV to the hospital in Lake Havasu City, AZ.

She had her first solid food yesterday after arriving in LHC AZ.

Now she is just one mile from our house and Maggie and I will walked over each day for visits.

She is in the rehabilitation unit for extended treatment (3 hours per day M-F) to see if her legs will regain feeling and learn to walk again.

Alice is no guitter!

Alice said to say HI and thanks to you all.

R-dub:

Gongrats on the good news of Alices re-locate to her home area. That, at least, is a positive improvement and hopefully everything just gets better and better. Best wishes.

Today is just the tomorrow you worried about yesterday!

Jim, Don't know how familiar you are with the area , but...If you have the time and like old trucks and tractors, the Heidrick Ag museum in Woodland is a good way to spend an afternoon. It's only about an hour from Fairfield.

Well, we bit the bullett and headed back to Juneau, Alaska on March 1st. Interstate 5 was closed southbound near Cottage Grove, Oregon due to a big snowfall. The temperature was 18 degrees F one morning in Terrace, British Columbia, but we caught the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry M/V Kennicott out of Prince Rupert on schedule March 20 and arrived in Juneau 26 hours later. Whew! We had to back the rig onto the ferry. That was cute, but it is nice to be back in Juneau for the summer where I have accepted the challenge to be a tour bus driver/guide for Princess Tours. What a saga that will be. We'll be returning to the Fiesta Grande RV Resort in Casa Grande in November.

Chuck: as the schedule stands right now, we are due in Rapid City on May 1. Of course, weather changes all. Plan on a stop in Salt Lake City to rattle Blake's cage and see if he is still kicking.

After four great Months in the Texas Rio Grande Valley, we'll be heading home (Gilmer) Monday morning.. Only 625 miles or so --- the old bus should handle one more trip OK.

We are planning to attend the two upcoming Class7/8 rally's and look forward to meeting new folks and renewing friendship with many "old timers" as well ...

After spending a very nice winter in northwest Kansas with temps running from -13 to 85 degrees we will headed for to Texhoma for a striper fishing day April 2. Then on to Texas Motor Speedway for Nascar Racing the April 4th - April 9th. After that it's up to Tulsa, OK for a meeting of the minds the following week.

Yes I did find a little one (mind).

Then it's back home.

Hi Pam and Smokey,

We should be in "Sac-a Tomato" by 4/3. Be sure to call us when you get in town. The best campground "in town" or close to town, is Cal - Expo. If you have trouble finding it, just call us.

Anyone else going through Sacramento to the Escapade in Chico, Ca. give us an email and we'll meet you and swap a few lies. TeeHee We probably will leave for the rally the Saturday right before sign in.

Keep makin' happy tracks,

Bob T

Moved down to Chowchilla, CA at the fairgrounds till 4/3 when we will head back to Las Vegas.

Have been in the rain ever since we got into CA and it has been flat miserable. Now the weather looks like it is finally going to clear up next week.

We arrived in Sacramento, CA today. We are staying at Cal Expo RV Park. We're in site 500 if anyone is in the area. Drop by and see us. We will meet with Bob T and Sahron tomorrow and do some things with them during the next week. Then it's off to the Escapade next Friday.
