jcussen
I am running 8 gauge from each bank to inverter and it is well within specs. Magnum calls for 2/0 to inverters. I was looking at backing plates by magnum. The mini panel backing plate looks interesting. Less than $80.00. Boilt it to a piece of plywood and mount inverter. Actually, I could mount it to backing plywood wall with that plate. My bussbars are up there now but I going to remove them. With the E Panel they aren't needed. If you look at a wiring size calculator, you will find even 8 gauge is overkill. Magnum is assuming one big battery, we are using 3. .http://wiresizecalculator.net/ Quote Foretravel 40ft tag 500hp Cummins ISM 1455 watts on the roof, 600 a/h's lithium in the basement. GlennWest
My bms is 100 amp per each pack. Should never see over 30 amps to each set. I just finished removing my bussbars. They just took up to much room. Ran 2/0 cables joining together my battery pack. Yes overkill but had plenty. Same on grounds. Mounted 175 amp mbl fuse at hot end where I come off to inverters. This opened up the wall above my batteries. Plywood wall I built. Can put inverter there and main inverter on E panel door.
