Chad&Jen
Would any of you hyper-organized folks who FT be willing to share your maintenance schedules? Looking for the weekly/monthly/yearly things that keep your rig clean, safe and reliable. We have a 09 Volvo 780 with iShift, so Volvo maintenance would be especially helpful. Thanks. Exile
Grease the truck every 10k miles or so, fifth wheel more often some on here open up their wheel bearings on the trailer once a year, check trailer brakes based on use or big upcoming trip test break away brake system and check trailer suspension keep trailer jacks maintained take a crawl around the truck and trailer before going on the road, check the roof for caulk and vents and other penetrations condition do a pre-trip on the truck before driving it. You should catch many issues early by doing this. Quote 98 379 with 12.7 DD LG Dodge w/5.9 CTD Chrome habit I’m trying to kick.
