Ray,IN Posted January 31, 2020 Report Share Posted January 31, 2020 (edited) The last time I spoke with RM tech support I was told "no more lifetime map updates for the 7730". Today I attempted to attach my 7730 to my computer and RM Dock. Nothing, the 7730 does not say "connected" on the screen, the computer does not make any USB connection sound. RM Dock will not install unless a RM GPS unit is first connected. Anyone know what's happening? The USB cable is good, as it charges the GPS battery from the 120VAC adapter. The computer port is good, as I switched my printer to that port, printer functions normally. i phoned tech support, I was told to do a hard reset, it worked the GPS is functioning, still no map updates though.
