Renting out our house and going full time saves us a lot of money on a monthly basis, which allows us to do more activities we love! Heading up to our family cabin in Kernville, California, we get ready to hit the slopes! Just 20 minutes up the road from Wofford Heights is a small ski mountain know as Shirley Meadows or by it's official name, Alta Sierra. It has just two ski lifts and roughly 10 runs. They only open the slopes when they get enough fresh snow, so you'll have to time your skiing experience just right with the winter weather!
