NDBirdman
Saw your post, unable to add to your thread, did not want to add publicly to you tube channel. While it does set RV back ~8 inches and is light as heck (I use one and love it), watch the pin box!! It sets it back far enough to engage the pin box with the top side of your bed. Ask me how I know this.... If yours comes too close for comfort, you can mount the adapter "backwards" to miss the sides, it's made to be mounted both ways. Just check cap to cab rear window clearance. My next hitch will be the Reese Goosebox. Big Rick
Looking at the same hitch. Noted he had a Ram which has a very short “short” bed looks like it will work in my Ford short bed

Mine is the very short one too, my truck is the RAM Mega Cab.... I think it's a 6'3" bed. Not much room for anything. Sure wish they made the Mega Cab with the 8' bed but not gonna happen... LOL It's not the length of the bed that makes it tight, it's the width, moving the pin box aft puts it real close to the side. To make mine clear the side easily, move the ball up a hole, but then my RV represents a rocket ship in take-off position.
