Matt NY
Thanks, I have decided to stick with RV awnings. Edited June 13, 2019 by Matt NY
Barbaraok
RV awnings usually use the 12 V system. Are you sure you would want something that you have to be plugged into shore power to use? Also, RV awnings are made to bounce down the highway with the rest of the rig. Not everything residential does well moving down the highway at 65 mph. sandsys
Plus a house has standardized framing to which you can attach an awning. Do you have studs in your RV? If so, do you know where they are? Kirk W
You minght want to ask about the warranty when installed on an RV also. If the RV you want to put it on still has warranty, ask the dealer how adding this will impact that warranty. Quote Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years...... SWharton
If this was feasible a lot of people would do this. I have never seen one on an RV.
WeBeFulltimers
I have considered one of them but only a manual one and a much shorter one to put on one slide-out. Shouldn't be too heavy because would only be about 6 feet.
