E450 FORD FIREWALL LEAK

Recommended Posts

My 2019 Greyhawk 31F has water in the cab after rain. Is anyone else having this problem? Since I fulltime, a real problem for repair. Not covered by Lemon Law & ??? warranty coverage.

OK. I know nothing about vehicles. But a firewall that leaks would seem to me to be a fire hazard. Did I just prove how little I know?

Welcome to the Escapee forums!  Since your RV is a 2019, shouldn't it be under warranty? It could be an issue for either the RV dealer or the chassis manufacturer, but one of them is responsible.

Where is the water?  If it's on the floor of the cab it might be due to a plugged drain on the heater/AC fresh air inlet (those vents between the base of the windshield and the hood).  If water getting into the air inlet can't drain, it will eventually come out the heater floor outlet or elsewhere.

Again, on a 2019 this should be covered by the Ford vehicle warranty

Please let us know if/when you find the solution to the problem.  I have had a similar issue for a while now.  Thanks!

OJayco checked not a/c. Need Ford eval, would be covered, but I'd need hotel for myself and dog. Depending how long for the repair. Had previous issue very similar was in shop over 30 days. Sold it back to Winnie.🍋🍋🍋🍋
