Batteries in mobile suites

I don’t use Trojan brand batteries, but I use similar style batteries and my DRV charges them properly.  It will depend on how your DRV is equipped.  Mine has a Magnum 3012 inverter/charger that handles the battery charging.  It is programmable to most any charging profile.  Your vintage DRV is probably using a converter to charge the batteries.  Find the make and model of your converter and a quick google search should give you its charging parameters to let you know if it is compatible with Trojan’s requirements.  I suspect it will be, but can’t say for sure without the information I spoke of.
