Resale value; is it market scarcity or just higher demand?

If you peruse the value of used RVs on websites like RV trader and NADA you'll find that most Class B's will retain a slightly higher resale value than either a Class B plus or a Class C.....(actually, Class B + doesn't really exist, it's just marketing)...

Did this influence your decision to get a Class B?

Not for us. We bought our Bs because we thought that was the right size for us at the time. The first one we were wrong but the second one I was right.
