She is just now getting past regular PTSD symptoms that range from feeling unable to breathe, to vomiting, to actually creating intestinal issues for herself that she never had before. It is a very real manifestation and one of our dogs has been a key part of her recovery. We do NOT take him places as a service dog, but I completely understand the people who need to. Her emotions center more around the home, such as actually throwing up when one of our guests overslept and she was sure we'd find him dead.
