Is this a legitimate website that is trying to capitalize on the ESCAPEES organization or a new branch of the present ESCAPEES discussion forums?

That website does have this disclaimer: This website is not affiliated with or endorsed by Escape Trailer Industries or any of its affiliates. This is an independent, unofficial site.

Social Knowledge, LLC operates the Escape brand travel trailer owner's forum along with a number of other well known RV brand and other forums including the RV Park Reviews forum. The similarity of the name with this forum is purely coincidental.

As LindaH stated, the Escape website is a users forum for owners of Escape Trailers.  Escape Trailer Industries is a small Canadian company making fiberglass trailers.  I've traveled in one of their 17' "eggs" for 6 years before upsizing to their  21' trailer.  Great trailers for those looking for small tow behinds (although they do also make a 21' 5th wheel).

Thanks folks! I wrongly suspected it was a play on Escapees.
