alan0043
Hi Everyone, I have a need to remove the cover on the turn signal that is mounted on the sleeper behind the doors. The truck is a gen 2 Volvo. I am thinking that the cover snaps on. I have tried prying up on the corners with no luck. I didn't pry up to hard because with my luck I would brake something. Is there a secret to remove the cover ? I looked in the resource guide with no luck. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thank you for any help, Al 2012 Volvo VNL 630 w/ I-Shift; D13 engine; " Veeger " Redwood, model 3401R ; 5th Wheel Trailer, " Dead Wood " 2006 Smart Car " Killer Frog "
HERO Maker
Al, wish I could help you. That was the only thing the 2" hail busted on the truck. But it was already busted apart and don't remember how I put the new one on. I'm thinking the cover snapped on, so it should snap out of there also. I'll look at mine. Alie&Jim's Carrilite
It is a snap cover. The back edge should lift. If it's cold, the plastic will be brittle making it possible to crack the cover if you pry too much. I found out years ago with plastic parts, you need warm weather if you are going to try to pry on anything off or up. I try to find a replacement part and see what it looks like. Sculptor
Hi, using that part number several hits were genuine Volvo parts but one hit was Walmart and less expensive. It looks like the same part? https://www.walmart.com/reviews/seller/16843?offerId=57E4CD109D41432483E01E0953FC501C Sent you an IM.
