true said statement was said decades back. but the comunist overloards there now have never said otherwise.  and many products from there are contamated with(?). as in toys with lead in them, paint/ink with lead.  most never get a “recall” but where i work over the years there have been many such.

they never make the news as mc dees does not want the bad press, but every year at least one recall, in a hurry of something, once it was drinking glasses, a top thing, but there was too much lead in the glass.

every year a toy is a must pick up and return, stores are told to not issue them.

What plans you can get also depends on where you domicile. Minnesota does not have a Medicare Plan G or Plan F. They offer two plans from which you pick one. Or you buy a Medicare Advantage plan from a commercial company then they bill Medicare for things that are covered under Medicare itself. We only see a bill when a receptionist decides to not process our copays at check-in.

I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield Medicare Advantage (HMO) Plan out of Albuquerque, NM. I pay $10/mo for the plan which includes prescriptions. I like my current medical providers in Albuquerque so we plan on returning every 6 months for follow-up appointments with them. I will be returning every April and October. All providers are on-board with this. We will keep our domicile In Abq. to qualify for this insurance option. If an emergency healthcare need arises as we travel, the plan covers those costs. I pay $0 copay for my PCP and routine annual tests. I pay $50 for each specialist visit. I have had this plan for two years, now going on to 3 years and am very satisfied with it. My wife is still 2 years from Medicare and is on a BC/BS PPO plan as a retiree from her previous employer.

That sounds like a good plan as long as things work for you. Just be sure that you have an address that is acceptable for driver's license and you should be good to go.
