Broncohauler
Looking for a Teflon pad for my Trailer Saver hitch. I know it needs a smaller size to still lock in the pin. Dose anyone know what size, or best place to get it? thanks guys
TXiceman
Diameter does not matter much. The problem is thicker ones may or may not work. Broncohauler
Thickness is what I meant to say I know some people found out the hard way about getting the correct size.
Steve from SoCal
Are they teflon? I thought the material was UHMW polyethylene. I would like to know a source as well. Darryl&Rita
Any RV parts source. Just get the thinner of the 2 flavours they have. I have been wrong before, I'll probably be wrong again. 2000 Kenworth T 2000 w/N-14 and 10 speed Gen1 Autoshift, deck built by Star Fabrication 2006 smart fourtwo cdi cabriolet 2007 32.5' Fleetwood QuantumPlease e-mail us here. Big5er
https://www.etrailer.com/dept-pg-Accessories_and_Parts-pt-Lube_Plate.aspx read the specs on each one to see the thickness. Most seem to be 3/16" but there are some 1/8" thick ones MY PEOPLE SKILLS ARE JUST FINE.~It's my tolerance to idiots that needs work.~ 2005 Volvo 780 VED12 465hp / Freedomline transmission singled mid position / Bed by Larry Herrin2018 customed Mobile Suites 40KSSB3 2014 smart Fortwo
Hot Rod
I never had a problem with the standard ones, always work fine on my older trailersaver. BUT others have reported issues and need the thin one.

Mark and Dale Bruss
The replacement hitch I put on Red Rover had no clearance for a pad, even a 1/8" one. I wound up using a spray dry lubricant. Not as pretty but it worked. GlennWest
Don't really know if it will work on my Et Hitch. But will find out. The 3/16" was so tight, it was hard to release. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
Ronbo
Those that can’t use the plate with the rt hitch, do you have a Brinkley head? I have one of the the heads Henry made and it works fine with a plate. Broncohauler
Thanks guys. And thanks Phil for the link. I’m going to try out the 1/8 inch one Phil linked at Amazon. I’ll let you know the results.
orca
I have never tried this myself but another RVr told me that in a pinch you can use the bottom of a 5 gal pail. I don't know how durable they would be but they are cheap and plentyfull. 2004 Freightliner m2 106 2015 DRV lx450 Fullhouse 2019 Indian Springfield 2014 Yamaha 950 V-Star
