Tampa RV show onsite parking

I've been able to find out there is RV Parking with power at the show.  This in addition to the boondocking sites.  30 amps, but no water or sewer.  There may be water trucks and tank pumpout trucks but not sure.  Cost is225$.  For me it's worthwhile.  The last time I went I stayed in Bushnell some distance north.  Coming down 75 was no picnic, construction zones, narrow lanes and wondering if the oncoming semi is going to rip off your mirrors..enough said.

The 225 gets you 4 nites with power, entry into the show anytime, a breakfast, coffee and donuts in the mornings, entertainment in the evening.

For me, it seems like a good deal.  Let alone the fuel savings.

We did this 4 years ago.  Power was supplied hobo style from big diesel generators.  We had to move the truck to a strip along the entry road since it would not fit on the 40' site.  Jack was there and did the same.  It was very convenient and the generator power was adequate.  We would do it again.  Charlie and I plus wives will most likely come over to the show from Melbourne for just a day visit.  I hope we can hook up while we are there.

We usually dry camp out in front of show every year. No res. $20 per nt.

We're thinking of doing the same this year.

Stayed in this parking last year, no water trucks or honey wagons, but electric was stable, they do shut it off at noon on Sunday, so being the camper I am I fired up the gen and spent another night. When I got up and left I was the only one in the lots back there, and the fencing was gone as well.

This year going for full hookups as we are a vender at the show.

Roger, you will like the full hookups.....we did that last time there, since we were also vendors.
