Water tanks full or empty

I would recommend Kirk's set up.  When filling the fresh water tank (for holding) just remove the chlorine filter from the housing and fill.   The reason I would suggest having the 2 inline is that one usually brushes their teeth at the bathroom sink, not the kitchen sink, and one really wants the residual chlorine in all of the lines while hooked up to shore water systems.

Wow, ok, thats different than I have been told in the past.  The bacti part of it tho I have seen with my own eyes.  I went back and edited my comment
