jpcoll01
Seeing if anyone in this group has experience towing something that is smaller than a Tahoe but has a 3rd row. Need to tow 4 down as I don't want to mess with trying to store a Dolly as many of the campgrounds we love don't have pull-through sites. We currently pull a Wrangler Unlimited and absolutely LOVE it, but our family is growing and 4 kids just won't fit in the back seat no matter how hard we try 🙂 Thanks in advance for any info you can give. Edit: Thought it would be worth mentioning, we are pulling with a Gas Motorhome (31' Gulfstream B Touring)
Kirk W
The biggest issue will be the issue of exceeding your maximum towing weight or gross combined weight. It will have to be something very light to tow safely and I do hope that you use an auxiliary brake on the vehicle you are towing. I suspect that you have a max tow weight of about 3500#. That will be pretty limiting. Looking at the specs from Ford for the chassis, your gross combined weight is 22k. Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years......
