sandsys Posted July 11, 2018 Report Share Posted July 11, 2018 I hate storms that come during the night because residents seldom get enough warning to respond appropriately. In the daytime people are awake and can often see the weather changing which may give them time to head for shelter. When you are asleep it's a whole different scenario. It's now the season; be careful out there everyone. And be sure your weather alert radio has new batteries. That one went to our south but we had 80+ mph winds just 10 days or so ago with lots of trees down but were fortunate to not have had any tornadoes. I have people there working with the emergency crews on all the torn up utilities. A few years back, we lived north of there, bout 15 miles north of Minot.
