How's the weather in your 'neighborhood' ?

Got into Sin City (Las Vegas) yesterday from Ely, NV. It was 48 in Ely yesterday morning when we left. Got to Boulder City Elks at noon and it was 93. After chowing down at Boulder Station and coming back to the Elks, it hit 101 at about 4. Then last evening just as it was getting dark, the temp was 92, but the humidity sure shot up. This AM at about 7, it was 78 and I think Saturday it will top out at 106. At least the sky is clear and NO smoke as we had north. Next week we will continue on down to our RV lot in Yuma.

Raining and chilly with a cold front passing through east TX tonight. We have weather warnings out but should be over by 10 pm.

I do not miss going through the gully-washers during storms in Texas.

In damnphool metric fresh water freezes at 0c and 2.54 cm = 1 inch. A litre of water weighs a kilogram a 1000 litres weighs 1 tonne and measures 1 metre per side making it 1 cubic metre. Anyways....too many ones and tens and decimals.

Weather

-7c tonight wind 30km/hr to 50km/hr. 2 to 4 cm snow.

Same tomorrow. Then:

Tues sunny, hi -10c low -15c.

Weds sunny, hi -9c low -14c

Thu sunny, hi -11c low -20c

12c degrees or 21f degrees below “normal”.

Prior to climate change/earth overheating the “normal” is/was hi +1 low -8c

"Are we there yet?" asked no motorcycle rider, ever.

Yea, we're up the road in Mesa - sunny days, still a little cool at night.

It has been a mostly warm but wet winter here in east TX so far this year. We have had very few nights that went below freezing so far but are way ahead on the rain total. It was in the 70's earlier this week and is predicted to be back there next week.

But for a bit of propane , I'm not complaining . Haven't had to run heat tape on any incoming water . :)

And , the sun rises and sets can be beautiful .

Tricky going out for morning walk before sun is totally up.  Once sun is out, WARMS UP very quickly.😅

Here too .

I am usually outside well before sun up . I'm not afraid to wear a coat then , but , yea when the sun breaks the mountains , a sweat shirt is plenty . :)

Goes around , comes around .

Snow, sleet, and freezing rain here in Max Meadows, Virgina tonight and tomorrow. We're hunkered down until Monday though, when we'll head down Fancy Gap hill on I77 past Charlotte before stopping for the night in above freezing weather for a change.
