Very hot in the summer (I'm down here now) but lots of spots available.  You would want to find something down here during the summer so you won't have too much of a problem staying over the winter.  The population almost triples during the winter, at least the road traffic does.

For an accurate feeling for just what the temps will be like, go to Weather Underground's calendar history website for Port Isabel (right on the coast near where the LNG plant would be build.  https://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KPIL/2018/6/15/MonthlyCalendar.html?cm_ven=localwx_calendar

Once on the website you can up in put in different months and years and see a history of the daily temps for many, many years in the past.

Bottom line, it will be very warn and humid in the summer, and just warm in humid in the winter, with some cool to chilly days.

Glen I own a lot in Brownsville. Very nice in winter but can be very hot in summer. But seems like there is always a gulf breeze blowing. I live in SW Missouri and I watch temps in both places and sometimes it is a degree or two cooler in Brownsville than in swmo
