WileyOhio
I have a '96 Skyline park model with roof leak issues. Most leaks are at the edges, but whatever it was coated with before is mostly gone. At the RV show in Harrisburg last year, I talked with a gentleman about Rexoseal RV roof restoration system. It sounded like what I need, but I have next to no experience in this stuff. Any recommendations or comment about this product or another brand would be appreciated. Pat & Pete
If you're doing the job yourself , you might consider elastomeric roof coating from one of the big box home stores . Pretty easy to work with , lasts a looong time and stays flexible . Goes around , comes around .
bobsallyh
You need to determine what kind of material the roof is. If EPDM, many "roof coatings" will not adhere to the rubber. Read the fine print, even if it states that it is for EPDM. You may find that it will take a primer or a catalyst to make it adhere. Do your homework so you don't waste time and money. WileyOhio
Thanks for the feedback. Pete, I looked into that. I think it will work just fine. Bob, what is on the camper now does not feel like rubber, more like a semi-flexible plastic. Now if it would just stop raining...
