strawdog
We have taken the HDT & 5W east to west through Yellowstone, but this year are looking at going in the south entrance of Teton NP, coming out in West Yellowstone. Has anyone else gone this route? Other option is to go an additional 125 miles through Idaho... Thanks! rickeieio
You'll be fine. Just don't try to get into pull offs, or you may get trapped. 2gypsies
You can do it easily. It's best to leave as early in the morning as you can to avoid the traffic and also to have a chance to see more critters. Enjoy! chiefneon
Howdy! We stayed in West Yellowstone visiting the park a week ago. The east side of the park had over six miles of very ruff road construction going on with over thirty minute delays either way depending on traffic and slow going once moving and that’s 24/7’s. Beyond Roosevelt Falls the road was closed all the way to the cutoff at Fishing Bridge. ” Happy Trails” Chiefneon "Class of 2007 Fulltimer's" Gary & karen Smoochie & Michaela (fur babies) 2018 Chevorlet 3500 HD/LTZ 2L Custom Hauler 2014 Heartland Cyclone 4000 2016 Smart Car Prime
