walterc2
Maybe it's just me, but I find the Escapees travel mapping program fairly useless. I am just curious if anyone else finds it helpful??? Al F
I haven't found an online mapping program that I have found to allow me to quickly change and compare different routes. I still use Delorme Street Atlas for mapping out my routes. Street Atlas allows me with just a click or three to change which hwy I want to follow and to compare the mileage of each route. It is also very easy to pan the map with the arrow keys or mouse. No waiting for the internet to bring down a new screen as I move along the route. Additionally Street Atlas me to almost instantly select a stop location which shows the mileage between stops. Very nice to have when you are deciding on how far you plan on traveling in a day. Unfortunately Street Atlas is no longer being sold or updated. I do use Google maps or Bing maps online if I happen to need up to date highway details.
