SWharton Posted April 19, 2018 Author Report Share Posted April 19, 2018 Thanks. I had been using Mymaps by Google for my blog and putting in each major stop as we wandered. I went to check my blog a few weeks ago and the maps were gone. Several people had the same issue, Google isn't talking as to why they removed the maps, product is still there. No notification from Google when they removed the maps. That has convinced me that I want my own map so that I have total control, none of the cloud stuff without a full backup on my disk.
