SuiteSuccess
Purchased my hitch camera from Leviathan_holdings on EBay seven years ago. Most folks are familiar with him and his products but think he’s out of business. Anyway I need to replace just the camera itself not the whole system. Believe it is the four pin connector. Anyone have a source for the camera Leviathan sold or a working one they would sell me? It’s done everything I need, so again not looking to replace cable, monitor, etc. 2006 Volvo 780 "Hoss" Volvo D12, 465hp, 1650 ft/lbs tq., ultrashift Bed Build by "JW Morgan's Custom Welding" 2017 DRV 39DBRS3 2013 Smart Passion Coupe "Itty Bitty" "Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. VegasFlyer
Can you post a photo? I have found quite few cameras that are good for that application. As to the four pin, you can get an adapter to use other type connections. noteven
I saw a tour video someplace I cannot find now where the guy used an industrial dairy barn camera on his rv project. He stated it was rugged, had night vision, and less cost than "RV" equipment. "Are we there yet?" asked no motorcycle rider, ever.

Jack Mayer
The problem with the 4-pin connectors is that there is no standard pin layout. many are the same, but there is no guarantee. Sobe prepared to test it to make sure the feeds are correct. The Dallux stuff seems pretty good. I've been testing a few of their things for a while now with good results. How it lasts long-term remains to be seen. But even the Ag cameras and systems can crap out after awhile, and they cost far more. Big5er
I bought a spare from Steve (Leviathan) when I ordered stuff for the new trailer. He had been around for so long, I was kinda sad when he told me he was retiring. He had to piece it together but he got me everything I needed for the new trailer: camera, enough cable to run all the way back and a coiled cable to plug into the truck. I guess I got lucky. Big5er
Yes. They can be spliced. I had to do it once on the old trailer. Jack Mayer
I routinely splice video wires into switches, and even into project boxes and onto Ethernet wire, which can carry more signal in a more compact way. It works fine, done properly for short runs. You can get into issues if you run it real far. Jack & Danielle Mayer #60376 Lifetime Member Living on the road since 2000PLEASE no PM's. Brad NSW
I would think it would work if the Voyager has the standard 4pin connection. Might want to call the manufacturer. Seems the signal format is pretty standard among the cameras/receivers using the 4pins. 2010 Freightliner, DD15 Eaton Ultrashift, 2015 New Horizons 5th Wheel. lockmup68
I ended up getting a voyager off ebay. It was $124. Nice feature on the new ones, it has a "mirror" button on the back, so you are actually looking out the passenger side the correct way vs. opposite like the old one. I also took the opportunity to build a new mount with a stronger magnet, and I put wire loom over the top and taped it on so the wire will not slip in between the hitch and the bed and pinch it like last time. 2003 International Eagle 9200i, Cummins ISX, Freedomline 2007 Teton Scottsdale XT4

We are dealers for Rear View Safety, and for customers that is likely what we will focus on. So far I like them better than Voyager. There are LOTS of lower cost systems out there. How you distinguish a good one from not so good is difficult. If you buy an $80 system be prepared to replace it. Basically, that is my experience over time. But so far the Dallux has been good.
