Recommended Posts

I have a 2014 106 sportchassis 9l 350 hp when I tow my sportchassis get 6 to 7 mpg.

when not towing I received about 12mpg. So my question is this to what other are getting on their truck.

its a new truck with 3,500 miles

On a “new” truck as the miles increase the engine and drivetrain will “break in” and you will see an increase of your mpg when towing.

I tow with a GMC Topkick with the  8.1L gas engine. I get 9-10 empty and around 7 to 7.5 with my 45ft overall Teton Reliance Experience 21k as it sits.

2001 IH 4700LP, DT530/Allison.  Not sure what my MPG is, never have checked it.  Might on next trip.
