RV Parking near the strip in Las Vegas

Hello,

We met up with some friends at Lake Mead and are currently staying at the BLM land there until the Super Bowl crowd disperses from Las Vegas.  There are some good spot for bigger rigs at the Government wash, and the Annual Parks pass gets you in for no charge.

I had information of some places on the Vegas Strip where you can park and stay in your RV close to the strip, so I went to scout them out this morning.

1. The parking lot across from the Stratosphere - free parking.  The parking lot had 1 older looking camper and one semi there this morning.  There was a person trying to sell things out of the back of his van and another two people who I think were trying to sell timeshares.  The parking lot did not look very secure, and we decided we wouldn't be comfortable leaving our rig there for any length of time.

2. Parking at Excalibur or Bally's casino oversized lots.  I was told that they started charging $10 per night around 2015 - 2016 to stay in their lot, but when I went there to inquire with security, I was told only registered guests could park there.  $10 per night would have been great since they have security and  since we're equipped to boon-dock.

3. Circus Circus actually has an RV lot with full hookups behind their casino for $38/nt plus tax (no weekly rate).  This may be our best option, but it would be awesome if there was a secure lot for less since I'm able to boon-dock.

Maybe there are casino's off the strip that still allow parking in their lots?  Does anyone know?  Thanks!!

BTW - I found that most of the other nearby parks average about $55/nt.

The Hitchin' Post RV Park on Las Vegas Blvd N is about $33 a night, maybe a little more, but is a good park with a gate.  We like the Oasis, but during busy holidays, unless you made reservations a year in advance, almost impossible to get in.  We were at the Hitchin' Post several weeks ago, and will be back there in less than a week for about a two week stay.  I'm not sure if they have weekly rates, but they do have monthly rates, plus electric is extra, but overall very cheap compared to most of the area parks.
