Is my rig too big for boondocking?

A while back it blew a gale most of the night at a boonie location I was camped. I was parked cross wind. In the morning calm I discovered 3 truck camper rigs had hove too on the lee side of my rig during the night. I said to myself, “Self, I know your rig drives like a lardass on the road but this is ridiculous”.

Each one of them thanked me for the shelter when they broke camp. :)

"Are we there yet?" asked no motorcycle rider, ever.

Love it! We were in a small class C when our windstorm hit. It never occurred to me to take shelter next to one of the bigger rigs. We just kept moving our rig to face into the wind as they shifted.

i do not know what is too big?

i have been looking at a  couple fifth wheel rvs. not toy haulers. but rvs with small garages in them. a couple quads down to just a motorcycle.

37 ft up to 43 feet. but only about 34 - 37ft for living space. not all open like a toy hauler.

big? seeing as only me? no wife or kiddies to deal with.
