Going to be class of 2018.

Heading to Weslaco, Tx..

Thinking of heading there late this year. Not planning on making reservations.

Heard it is friendly and has a lot of Cdns..

As well, was told by someone that there are spots in Az to avoid....

Any help would be appreciated by us newbies..

There are lots of RV parks in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas and you should be ok without reservations. If I were going I would have reservations after I found a park that I would want to stay at online. They should be less expensive then say Florida and the cost of living in the Valley will also be less. Meds and dental work just over the border. Good Luck

Pay for a week when you arrive, explore to find a monthly spot that suits your needs. We own our lot but,  here to watch after my wife's parents for the past 12 years on our lot behind them. Our 1st time down here was 29 years ago.
